Car no longer King in Brunswick

An analysis of 2011 and 2006 census Journey to Work Data from Moreland shows a downward trend for car use, and an upward trend in cycling, tram and train use.

In Brunswick, car-only journeys now make up less than 45% of trips to work.

As the census is in August, it’s reasonable to suggest that bike trips would be even higher if taken across the whole year.
